Welcome September..felt so nice out this morning..62 degrees @ 9 am. Looks like low 80's all week. Rain chances mid week. We got back home yesterday @ 5 pm. My brother's health has deteriorated dramatically since we were there 3 weeks ago. If he lives another week, I'll be amazed. Hospice nurses are coming in daily now. He's being heavily sedated at this point. I held up pretty well until the middle of the night..I know he had a long, good life..but seeing him like this is so hard. We're staying home today. Need to cut the grass this evening. Hoping it won't need cut much more. Have a wonderful new week bud.

Saturday we had rain almost all day and we ended up with 2.5"! As soon as the yard dries out, the Labor begins! Mowing and Weed Eating!
I love rain, thunder and lightning! I love playing in it too! But I guess I could have dressed up for the photo opt.
I don't get dressed up for Labor Day because today should be a relaxing, do nothing kind of day. Oh wait, that is everyday!

I'm so ready for Fall to arrive. It's a sunny day and 81F but feels much warmer than that. The humidity is just awful. The nights this week will get down in the 50's which is the perfect sleeping weather. I just got finished with my page. It's all decked out in Fall. I hope you are having a good Sunday. Mine has been doing lots of laundry. It's amazing how much laundry 2 people can have. Well enjoy the rest of your day my friend and take care.
