Good Afternoon Pam we're doing good and hope that your doing good as well we will be going to the Farmer's Market on Monday to get our hot peppers so probably that Saturday we'll be canning then on Sunday we're going to broil some hamburgers & hot dogs and we'll also have some macaroni salad this week we're doing laundry and cleaning the house. My morning has already been busy. I have dusted, and changed the sheets on the bed and I am on my second load of laundry. I still need to shake out rugs and sweep and mop. But I'm taking a break right now.
Do you have any plans for this afternoon? I don't. I'm probably going to do the vaccuming and shaking out rugs and sweeping tomorrow. Sitting here I'm loosing all of my energy.

I love Thankful Thursday. I said, "Thank you Jesus!" so many times yesterday.
Around 8:30 am, we heard Thunder! Yes, around 9 am, I was out dancing in the rain in our driveway! So grateful for the 6/10" of rain that we got.
The minute it stopped raining, we started pulling weeds in the front flower bed. After about 2 hours of slipping and sliding in the mud and 2 big bags full, we stopped.
I wish I looked like this but the video of me on our cam dancing through the puddles in the driveway wasn't this cute.
And my happy dance (also probably on our cam) after realizing half of the flower bed looks much better probably had the neighbors laughing.
I hope you day yesterday, today, and all the tomorrows to come are full of gratitude and that everyday is a Thankful Thursday. Don't forget to count your Blessings & share lots of Hugs! Pam

Re: reading or watching any Alice stories. I would always recommend reading the books or listening to an audiobook. Movies never do the stories justice. Though the 1999 version is a good one that tends to follow the book's plot. While Tim Burton's visuals are stunning, his Alice movies are not the books' plots at all.
As an adult though I don't know if reading the books has the same feel as reading them as a youngster. I read Alice In Wonderland in 4th grade. It appealed to me at that age & I loved all the wordplay. As an older reader you might go "What? These chapters are disjointed & this kid talks like an adult. lol ꧂
But I'm taking a break right now.
