we got rain this morning, the same system that brought the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County and the part of Texas known as the Hill country. So many people, adults as well as children have lost their lives during the severe rains and flooding, even away from the camps, there were homes swept off they foundations, cars with people in them trying to evacuate...it's a sad time here for us Texans. I've actually seen a lot of unique things, such as the Reclining Buddha, that was about 20 feet long, and completely gold plated, and the floating markets, while I was in Thailand. And the most memorable place would have to be in an airplane, at over 40,000 feet above the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where one can see the actual curvature of the Earth, in all directions, over an ocean that seems as smooth as glass...
