Almost everyone who works a 9 to 5 M-F work week, feels like this. I remember those days!
Some dogs (people too) are food oriented. Those make very good working dogs and service dogs. Our girls always remind Rbt when it is 5 pm and time for treats. They can tell time from one of our clocks.
Most dogs understand what you say, "Go rock the baby!" We tell Carly to go get Reba to come in and off she goes. Reba is hard of hearing and doesn't see very well anymore.
Some dogs are kind to other dogs or other animals and some don't play well with others. There are no bunnies or cats in our yard unless they are lightning fast, faster than Carly (most but not all squirrels and rabbits are faster).
Some dogs are afraid of their own shadow, even dogs have their weaknesses! None of our dogs like fireworks or thunder & lightning. After over 6 years with us, Carly still doesn't like the sounds from my iPhone or iPad when I get a message. In the evenings she runs to her crate that doesn't have a door on it but it is her safe place.
But one smile from my J Lo, and my heart melts! She can have a french fry or whatever she wants from me. Ok, all of our dogs! They are always there to welcome us back home when we open the door.
True love for each other, animal or human, is one of God's greatest gifts. My wish is that you have found that gift. Blessings & Hugs!
Hi Lisa i remember them kind of days where its in the mid 60`s and lawn crews are still coming to cut the peoples lawn even in November
.They do it here even on Thanksgiving day if the weather is nice enough and the grass dont even need to be cut .lol
Well as long as the weather is nice. I bought a large bag of peanuts in a shell and those squirrels are in heaven with them . I could toss a handful of peanuts on the ground and then toss a few that are in a shell.
They will grab as many as they can with their mouths and scamper off as if they found gold. They take off and turn somewhere as long as they are digging holes .
They so cute.

Rain has moved out..got close to 7". So we will be working in the yard Saturday. Anxious to make plans for Fall plants. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
oh I wish we would get a good rain, we need it bad.a very dry summer here and non stop watering for me.been a rough summer for sure with the wildfires and poor air quality.hope your Wednesday is fantastic!
