Afternoon another hot day 97 degrees., tomorrow they say 70 new england weather is nuts., having a man come give me a price for ductless a/c for just 2 rooms.
just went for coffee today ., am home now my son may come by tonight after work.
I took my morning walk, afterwards, decided I need to go at 7 a.m. instead of at 8..it was fine at the beginning, but by the end of my walk, it was just getting too humid, so only got a mile...tryinig to get more than a mile a day in...2, 500 steps is way short of 10,000 "they" recommend. I wonder if I'll ever make that amount, probably not...LOL!
Another day of heat warnings here in St. Louis. No rain till Friday at best. Just staying hydrated with H2O and maybe a bourbon in the shade. Happy Hump Day to you my friend. Jazzsinger
Earlier this week, I took down the hummingbird feeders and scrubbed them. I made fresh food, filled the feeders and replaced them. The same day I saw a hummingbird.
I did NOT, nor have I ever seen a real albino hummingbird. But I do know that they exist.
I have seen so many pictures of them. Have you ever seen an albino anything?
It would just be magnificent to get a picture of one like this.
Or even one as pretty as this! Are your hummingbirds colorful? I do have ruby-throated and black-chinned. Most of them have pretty green feathers. However, all of the females are very plain.
I even tried setting up a place for them to play in the water and if they did, it wasn't when I could see them. So I will be happy that I am blessed to see them drink from the feeders that I put up.
