Love, love this layout, Moe!! Wishing you a pleasant Monday, Darlene! Harvest time for corn, apples next month; school starts, college football this w/e... Fall-time is nearing!! :) *hugs* -di
G'mornin', Glory! Today and tomorrow are to be cooler than of late and will enjoy that. Hope some of it's coming your way. I went thru my winter pics for comments the other day and actually cooled off doing it. lol Hope all is well w/you & DH. Take care, dear Darlene. Love & *hugs*
Cloudy today..sun has tried peeking out a few times. I've been inside all day. Have laundry to do tomorrow. I'll also need to vacuum as well. My energy level today is 0. The kitties came in early this morning..but once they figured out the rain was over, they were ready to go back outside. Our neighbors next door will be making sure they are fed while we're gone. How's the weather your way?
Good Evening, Melinda. The hurricane hasn't hit the NC coast yet, but it is coming. Erin is on it's way from what I've heard, and Thursday is the day for arrival. That could always change....."Three friends---two basking in the spotlight, one bracing for impact. This is their group photo, whether they like it or not.
Decent weather today...actually walked outside earlier and spent some time out back. Noticing the weeds and all that have grown since all of the rain we've recently had. We've almost finished cutting the yard. Had to buy string yesterday for the weed eater. So will finish that this evening. One more grocery run...prob tomorrow. Always running out of something. I smell an early Fall -:) Fingers crossed...
Hi Darlene! can you believe how fast the weekends fly by? (seems like I'm always saying that LOL!) We're midway through August already! I hope you enjoy the day.
Hi Darlene. Oh my. That’s a nice autumn page. It’s creeping closer for you:) How has your week been so far? I hope it has been pleasant. This week is fast coming to an end and I’m thinking about how I passed the days apart from doing the daily chores. Monday afternoon was spent with the local Scrabble group. I managed to win one game and second in two others then had afternoon tea There were some homemade sausage rolls at the group so I bought a couple to heat for a quick dinner before on home.
On Wednesday I received an email request to do family history research from a descendant of one of the original Polish settlers in our district so began work on that. Continued the research on Thursday morning then after lunch had an appointment for a hair trim. Following that picked up scripts from the pharmacist. Then went onto the Supermarket to replenish supplies. Came home put everything away before my daughter called in for an hour or so.
Friday completed the research and double checked everything before sending off. Now here it is Saturday and I’m catching up with comments. Sure does not sound very exciting or much but it certainly filled in the hours:) It continues to be very dry here with mild to cold temps. No sign of a decent rainfall. Chat soon. Pat.
Waiting on yet another thunderstorm. Should be here by 9 pm. It was so muggy today. Had a few errands this morning and was back home by 11:30. Now that school has resumed, I limit my driving time even more. We visited Marie yesterday. A lot of her family was there. She was happy to see everyone. Just taking one day at a time now. Love your autumn page. I'm anxious to start decorating for Fall. Have a nice weekend.. -:)
Good Morning, Melinda. I see some of the designers are presenting new autumn themes for the upcoming season as well....."Rise up, start fresh, and see the bright opportunity in each day."
Hi Darlene. Hey nice Autumn page:) I’ve been looking around for something different but haven’t come up with one I really like. The one I have now is pretty and I’m happy with it for now. I like the simple ones without all the gimicks. Guess I’m too hard to please:). I may make a test page so I can work on one of my own styles. Just a thought.
With our autumn we have a variety of both decedious and evergreen trees etc. Much depends on what part of the state you live in. South in the Adelaide hills gets full of colour during autumn. Locally, as we are surrounded by vineyards the vines turn a brilliant colour as do the decidious trees. The house behind me has a decidious tree that’s plain and untidy. No colour at all. The leaves and twigs fall onto the roof of my patio and on a windy day into my back yard area. It’s a full time job cleaning up every few days during autumn and early winter. I’ve invested in a Blow Vac which has made the task much easier. Each week I have a garbage bin full to be collected. Kinda gets very annoying also as the tree is close to the boundary fence the roots are lifting my pavers so not happy about that.
Dry overcast and cool day here. We have had the odd drop of rain but in the mid north and further north the land is crying for good falls. Each time it rains it falls in the City or south so that area is better off.
Hope your weekend has gone well thus far. 5.30pm Sunday as I sit here so I’d best be thinking about what to get for dinner. Chicken, roast potatoes & greens I’m thinking. Chat again soon. Hugs Pat.
