Waiting on rain this evening. Been outside diggin in dirt and pots. Got a cutting off the rose vine next door. Hoping it will root..never had luck with roses before. Talked with Marie this morning. She's still sick..and the facility has her shut in again. Makes no sense..a repeat of 2020 all over again..
It's Wednesday already..a cloudy one here. Rain chances again thru the weekend. Hope to get outside later today. Got a delivery coming today of potting soil. Have a few pots that need to be prepped for flower seeds. Hope your week is going good.
Hello Darlene, taco salad sounds good. That's exactly what we had for lunch last Fri when I went out with the girls. We had our Cinco de Mayo celebration early I guess. They came for lunch yesterday and we had tortellini pasta salad with Italian dressing...it's loaded with veggies too. My niece made Cowboy Caviar and a coconut cake since we were celebrating a birthday 2 days late for my other niece. So, didn't feel like cooking last night and made do with leftovers and this and that. LOVE lattes and almost any kind of coffee. It can upset our tummies, yes. I have 2 level spoons of sugar or a little agave nectar in mine, with fat free half n half. i also began making my own iced coffee because it's way cheaper and you can control the amount of sugar/sweetness it has that way. I make a quart batch at a time because hubby doesn't drink it anyway. They are starting to take notice and make lower acid coffee though it's still iffy to find it in the stores. It's much easier on the stomach.

May you enjoy a Peaceful day, My Dear Friend Melinda I have off from work today, Looks like the rain has finally stopped here, but to early to see if the will be shinning. I have a few things to catch up on at home, the Laundry, plus, I will be making turkey sausage with peppers and onions and a little sauce in the crock pot for dinner, serve that over a little pasta. I like using the crock pot, put everything in and let it do its thing.
It has been pretty steady rain here the same as you. Off and on yesterday and not much at all. Southern part of my state got hammered with rain. Flooded areas. It has been in the 50's here as well. I'm with you I like that much better than the heat.
Hello Melinda. Tonight we had hamburger and potato slices cooked in a flavorful sauce. Tomorrow we will get our a/c fixed since the part came in today.

Hello Darlene. I’ve never heard of “worm green” before. Got a chuckle at that:). I’ve now closed my account at the hill. I totally agree with you regarding NOTH. They need to make up their minds. It would have been better to announce the negotions at the start not after posting that it was closing. I’m happy here at Boomers so whatever they come up with won’t bother me. Re swapping our seasons/weather would you believe now I’m older I can’t take the heat as I could when younger. I’m getting very fussy in my old age and only enjoy the temps when they hover between 60 & 80. Anything over or under leaves me flat. Have spent the afternoon at Scrabble. Helps to keep the mind alert and active not to mention meeting up with good friends. Most enjoyable. Back home now and contemplating what to have for Dinner. Yes, I did have to work yesterday and not off till Wednesday, I have to be there at 8am this morning so thats not to bad, but I don't get out till 6pm they are long days but I do keep busy, and today I will be interviewing for hiring new associates. We had rain on and off all day yesterday... looks like it's suppose to rain here till Wednesday, I want dry weather and I like warm weather...I like being able to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin... LOL... Have a wonderful day!
We visited Marie yesterday,,she was not feeling great, but was happy to see us. Today I've been cleaning..had to move and sweep. I'll vacuum tomorrow. We got close to 2" rain since early yesterday. But the temps have been really nice..it's 73 currently..58 tonight. Humidity has been low as well. We're staying home today. I think we'll order Chinese for tonight..I usually get the beef n broccoli. Enjoy the new week ahead...-:)

It was a little chilli here yesterday, had a bad thunder storm late afternoon, I spent the day watching some old comedy movies... always a good day for a laugh. Then my daughter picked up chinese for dinner and I was in bed early, due to having to work today... Yesterday was a good day and a relaxing one. We all need these kind of days.
Hello Melinda. This day was one of rain with short breaks and then more rain. It brought the temperatures down into the 70s from the 80s. Our a/c unit broke and it was hot inside our home. I hope before it gets hot again the part to fix it will come in, and the unit can be repaired. I would rather it be too cold than too hot.The cold I can deal with by adding clothing and thermal heat patches, or even just buring myself in bed under a mound of blankets!

plus working helps me to remain active, which I need.
