Hi Darlene! we have a slight chance to see a flake or 2 accidently fall today...but, if they do, it'll probably be while I'm blinking and miss our only snow fall so far this winter! LOL! I hope you have a great weekend!
Good Night, Melinda. Never made a snowman during all the snowstorms in western New York, and we got lots of snow every year. I was too busy shoveling it out of the driveway so we could get the car out to the street. Then when the plows came and pushed some of it back in the driveway, I had to remove that too. And it was just so cold! The if we had snow squalls overnight, we might just have a two foot mound right in front of the garage door and parts of the driveway would be full of snow again. When I was done shoveling, I just wanted to come into the house and get warm. I had no interest in playing in the snow. Snow was not my friend.
I think that other drink was valled a Tipsie Zombie wasnt it .
i would like to try one of those .i could only drink one though or i would be dancing on the tables ha ha .
Maybe we could find a big enough table top and dance together holding our Tipsie whatevers .ha ha .

Much colder here tomorrow..high will be 39. A low of 19 tomorrow night. Hope you're having a good week. I've kept busy. Heading out to the dentist in a few.
good morning Darlene! happy mid week to you! I had my 1st physical therapy session for my knee yesterday, I did pretty well! I thought my knee would be hurting me a lot afterwards, but it didn't!
As we settle into January, we are given time to reflect, rest, and be reassured that what lies ahead is something truly wonderful. Gray skies will be replaced by a painting only in its true form..provided by nature.
A lazy day here. Rain moves in tomorrow evening. Much warmer until Sunday..we'll see 44 then. Tomorrow and Saturday back into the 70's. Made cube steak in the crockpot yesterday, so leftovers this evening.
Hi Darlene. It’s almost 4pm Wednesday afternoon here. Current Temp 104f. The last few days were slightly less but tomorrow and Friday will be higher before a slight cool change on Saturday. Fortunately it’s a clear heat so reasonably bearable. Needless to say the aircon is in full mode.
Sounds like you had a nice quiet Xmas and new year and with lots of snow too. Now, that you would have enjoyed:). Mind you I don’t envy your hubby having to keep the walkway and driveway clear. That task would be endless and rather cold. Wow 13 inches is a lot of snow in such a short time.
Are you still turning on the Xmas lights?. I think everyone around here have taken theirs down now.
Yes I’m still having days being affected with hay fever symptons. I’ve never had it so bad as this past year. Thank goodness for Zirtec and tissues.
I went out to lunch last Sunday for my granddaughters birthday. It was a family gathering held at a restaurant in a town 16 miles S/E of here and not far from the area where I grew up. Lovely meal and great company.
I’ve recently set up my musical keyboard and gradually getting back into the swing of playing it again. I’ve almost forgotten my chords but it’s slowly coming back. I never really learnt properly and play by memory/ear. Used to do some entertaining back in the day. That is something I can do sitting on a chair. The Spinal Stenosis has become worse causing me to be very restricted in what I can do. I’m not one for watching much TV. It rarely goes on during the day. Just in the evening more as a background noise. I do occasionally stream a show or two. Hugs Pat.
Good Morning, Melinda. Nothing says weekend vibes like an artificial snow-hand holding a giant mug of coffee, while a cat--standing proudly on his hind legs--nestles up to the snow-woman with the kind of affection usually reserved for the chosen family.
