That is interesting! I guess I never thought about how much would accumulate in there over the years. I'll have to think about that. Our hose is probably a lot shorter but it could still fill up I guess. Thanks for sharing! Blessings & Hugs! Pam

The guy didn't pull out the dryer out like I thought he would. He merely ran the dryer on "air flow," the no-heat setting. Then he went outside to the back of our unit & snaked a hose through the vent outlet there.
My laundry is 1st floor off the kitchen so the hose had to reach about 40ft inward. The hose was hooked at the other end to his van where there was an air compressor. Anyway all the dust/fuzz came shooting out the vent into a bag. The bag he filled was about the size of a regular plastic grocery sack. So it was a good amount & then again I thought not too bad for someplace 25 yrs old. Supposedly our dryer will work better & is now not such a fire hazard.
Good

Good night, my friend! We’ve made it through another Wednesday — halfway to the weekend! I hope you can rest easy tonight, knowing that you’re appreciated and that better days are ahead. Sleep well, recharge, and wake up tomorrow ready to take on whatever comes your way. Sweet dreams!
We finally got a decent rain last night. So we'll be cutting the grass once again this weekend. July is sliding along, and I'm continuing to mark the days off the calendar. Our dryer vent connects to an outside wall and empties outside. Still, we need to move the dryer and clean out the vent. Been quite a while since we did this. Enjoy the rest of the week -:)
