My hummingbird feeders are up year round.  I need to throw out the feed and put fresh in now because it has been 2-3 weeks.  I put 1 cup sugar in a pot and add 4 cups water.  Bring it to a light boil and turn it off to cool.  If I have any that don't fit in the 2 feeders, I pour it into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator.

I have only seen hummingbirds a couple of times in the last few weeks but the Turks Cap is starting to bloom so I hope they will be back soon.
