DARK NIGHTS

Dark nights.. my favorite times,

I think of my best little rhymes,

I have my time to think all alone,

No loud doorbells, no ringing phone,

Neighbors sleeping, children at rest,

Alone with my thoughts, I'm at my best,

Warm in my pajamas, cozy and nice,

Up till  dawn, I pay the ultimate price,

Daylight, soon I know will quickly arrive,

Up to greet the sun with my sleepy eyes,

Spend precious time with my lover, my guy,

I wait patiently for the colors of night,

The time when I  have my second sight.

                       NUMBER ONE LOVE

My son finally called me tonight,

Such a super pleasant delight,

I love to hear his sweet laughter,

I felt  renewed immediately after,

I miss my sweet boys.. so grown up,

Keeping in touch, I'll never give up,

Thank God for our families we love,

I have  many things I am very proud of,

Nothing compares to the love of your sons,

In my heart they will always be number one.

Happy Valentines day my sweet  peeps,

 Everyday is for love,  it never sleeps,

Take the one you cherish, hold them tight,

Not just on this Monday, do it every night,

Celebrate the love everyday of your life,

Treasure your chilldren, husband or wife,

Comments are fun but give me a break,

Every day I get more then I can take,

Boomer gives points for sending them out,

Who cares, I'd rather you give me a shout,

Don't get me wrong I love all my friends,

Back and forth  everyday, it never ends,

Write a good poem I'll stop by and read,

A comment each day I really don't need,

Send  less so they mean much more,

I'll read each one, sit here and adore,

I love you my friends I hope you know,

A special comment will make my face glow,

All I'm saying is send them with care,

                      MY HIPPIE WORLD

My hippie world is just right for me,

 Colored beads, pants of paisley,

Classic songs.. my ears delight,

Candles, incense,  burn at night,

Blacklights, posters, light the rooms,

Groovy, far-out, psychedelic mushrooms,

Love and light, Karma, peace signs,

Don't even care, I'm behind the times,

Hair full of flowers, earrings galore,

All of my things I simply adore,

My hippie world is just right for me,

There's no other way I'd rather be.

              LOVE AND CONFUSION

 Is  love is the answer to all  of my woes,

Deep in my heart the feeling still glows,

Some can't express and build up a wall,

Knock down the barrier, it won't hurt at all,

People  come and then they suddenly go,

Why they must  leave us I'll never know.

I cry and I scream, I pull out my hair,

 Whenever I'm down there's nobody there,

Is love is the answer , I need it so bad,

I would die for the past, dreams I once had,

Come back my sons, play games,  have fun ,

 I long for the days we were carefree and young.

Love is the answer, it just needs some coaxing,

Knock on the door ,I'll be sitting here hoping.

                                TIME

Time is fleeting promised never to stop,

Our lives are driven by the tick of a clock,

We are but a speck in this mysterious plan,

A walk on the beach a small grain of sand,

Never knowing what time has in store,

Fearing the reaper's  knock on the door,

Born in innocence, not knowing the way,

Learning lifes secret, to our utter dismay,

Time is our keeper locked, held and bound,

One day will come, we won't hear a sound,

Fill each day with your memories and  love,

Ghosts from the past watch silent above,

Tick tock  goes the clock, grab all you can,

We are but a speck in this mysterious plan.

My valentine, my love so true,

A special gift from me to you,

All these glitches with Boomer place,

This is why we all left myspace,

I love it here, it just  makes me mad,

Today it doesn't seem so bad,
