SNUG AND WARM

I woke up early this morning so cold,

Feeling  stiff, damn, am I getting old,

I bundled up in my blue sweat shirt,

My poor legs and back, they really hurt,

My babe was snoring asleep in our bed,

I went in and gave him a kiss on his head,

He pulled me in with him under the covers,

We were snug and warm us silly lovers,

Funny, even though I woke up so cold,

Snuggling with my lover I don't feel so old.

                   A CHILDS HEART

A  childs heart deserves respect,

Shower them with love, be kind,

Love them more then they expect,

Teach them well, their love is blind,

Keep them happy, hug more then norm,

Hold them close when they feel fear,

Let them know they are safe and warm,

A child is all things pure and dear,

 Shield them from all lifes dangers,

Love your child with no conditions,

Teach them never talk to strangers,

Show them simple family traditions,

A child grows so fast, leaves the nest,

So take this time, they need your love,

Looking back,  know you did your best,

 God  gave this gift from skies above.

You came to me, my soul was burned,

I had built a wall, tall around my heart,

From you, came faith and love I learned,

Hours passed, your voice I craved,

Lonely, empty nights we braved,

Needing, wanting, desire your touch,

                  COLORFUL EYES

Colorful eyes, the beauty, so many hues,

Greens, violets, hazels, browns, and blues,

Emotional eyes, firey passion, tender desires,

Empty eyes,  showing the feelingless liars,

Elation, eyes bright, shining like a star,

Moms eyes, tears flow with love from afar,

Colorful eyes are like expressions on faces,

Look in the eyes, take you to mysterious places.

                           HOME

Home.. comfort, love, a palace of fun,

Sadly, I know it is not true for some,

Neglect and hunger are rampant now,

Deeply wishing I could help somehow,

Home demands a place of laughter and play,

A kiss from mommy, a how was your day,

Stand up now, let your vioce be heard,

Feelings deep of things long endured,

Home to me was safety, love and fun,

Home should be this way for every little one.

                                  LOST

Lost.. lovers, friends, a simple spark,

A sunny day, a walk in the park,

Lost.. trinkets, letters from years ago,

Looking back in time, how did I know,

Lost.. kisses sweet, pictures faded,

Young love, feisty, lovers jaded,

Lost.. beloved pets, I see no trace,

Youth, time, just a little space,

                                 I SAW A  U.F.O.             

Walking back from the store there was a white shape moving way up in the sky, too  high up to be an airplane or a blimp! It looked really cool it was flying slow then it stopped in mid air, I'm not lying! It then started moving again it actually looked a little like the Starship Enterprise! LOl!  It was so high up and my husband couldn't even see it, but I did!! I wonder what it was? I watched it for a while so excited then it just vanished! Poof gone!! I wish it would have beamed me up especially as heavy as my groceries were!  Yikes!!
