little dog does tricks
Posted On 09/02/2008 06:58:37

This is really cute - tell the puppy to sneeze and see what he does! Love it!!

I have no idea how they do this: TYPE IN a command and see what happens... sit, roll over, down, stand, sing, dance, shake, fetch, play dead etc. and... it's also very cute if you type in a command that's not recognized...!! Make sure you type in 'Kiss' too, but do it last.

Did Eve Come First?
Posted On 08/07/2008 09:09:05

One day in the Garden of Eden, Eve calls out to God...

"Lord, I have a problem!"

"What's the problem, Eve?"

"Lord, I know you've created me and have provided this beautiful garden and all of these wonderful animals, and that hilarious comedic snake, but I'm just not happy."

"Why is that, Eve?" came the reply from above.

"Lord, I am lonely. And I'm sick to death of apples."

"Well, Eve, in that case, I have a solution. I shall create a man for you."

"What's a 'man', Lord?"

"This man will be a flawed creature, with aggressive tendencies, an enormous ego and an inability to empathize or listen to you properly. All in all, he'll give you a hard time. But, he'll be bigger, faster and more muscular than you. He'll also need your advice to think properly. He'll be really good at fighting and kicking a ball about, hunting fleet-footed ruminants, and not altogether bad in romantic pursuits."

"Sounds great," says Eve, with an ironically raised eyebrow. "What's the catch, Lord?"

"Yeah, well.... you can have him on one condition."

"What's that, Lord?"

"You'll have to let him believe that I made him first."

I believe...
Posted On 08/02/2008 05:58:18

I believe...

A Birth Certificate shows that we were born; a Death
Certificate shows that we died; pictures show that we lived!
Have a seat...Relax...And now read this slowly.

I believe - That just because two people argue, it doesn't mean
they don't love each other. And just because they don't argue,
it doesn't mean they do.

I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we
understand that friends change.

I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're
going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive
them for that.

I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the
longest distance. Same goes for true love.

I believe - That you can do something in an instant that
will give you heartache for life.

I believe - That it's taking me a long time to become the person
I want to be.

I believe - That you should always leave loved ones with
loving words. It may be the last time you see them.

I believe - That you can keep going long after you think you
can't.

I believe - That we are responsible for what we do, no matter how
we feel.

I believe - That either you control your attitude or it controls you.

I believe - That heroes are the people who do what has to
be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the
consequences.

I believe - That money is a lousy way of keeping score.

I believe - That sometimes the people you expect to kick you
when you're down, will be the ones to help you get back up.

I believe - That sometimes when I'm angry I have the right to be
angry, but that doesn't give me the right to be cruel.

I believe - That maturity has more to do with what types of
experiences you've had and what you've learned from them
and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.

I believe - That it isn't always enough to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I believe - That no matter how bad your heart is broken, the
world doesn't stop for your grief.

I believe - That our background and circumstances may have
influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

I believe - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see
something totally different.

I believe - That your life can be changed in a matter of hours by
people who don't even know you.

I believe - That even when you think you have no more to
give, when a friend cries out to you - you will find the strength
to help.

I believe - That credentials on the wall do not make you a decent
human being.

I believe - That the people you care about most in life
are taken from you too soon.

I believe - That you should send this to all of the people that
you believe in. I just did.

The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of
everything; they just make the best of everything they have.

Will this happen to us?‏
Posted On 07/16/2008 05:05:58

An elderly Floridian called 911 on her cell phone to report that her car
has been broken into. She is hysterical as she explains her situation to
the dispatcher:

'They've stolen the stereo, the steering wheel, the brake pedal and even
the accelerator!' she cried.

The dispatcher said, 'Stay calm. An officer is on the way.'

A few minutes later, the officer radios in. 'Disregard.' He says. 'She
got in the back-seat by mistake.'

Three sisters, ages 92, 94 and 96, live in a house together. One night
the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts her foot in and pauses.

She yells to the other sisters, 'Was I getting in or out of the bath?'

The 94-year-old yells back, 'I don't know. I'll come up and see.' She
starts up the stairs and pauses 'Was I going up the stairs or down?

The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea listening to
her sisters, she shakes her head and says, 'I sure hope I never get that
forgetful, knock on wood.'

She then yells, 'I'll come up and help Both of you as soon as I see
who's at the door.'

'I CAN HEAR JUST FINE!'

Three retirees, each with a hearing loss, were playing golf one fine
March day. One remarked to the Other, 'Windy, isn't it?'

'No,' the second man replied, 'it's Thursday.' And the third man chimed
in, 'So am I. Let's have a beer.'

A little old lady was running up and down the halls in a nursing home.
As she walked, she would flip up the hem of her n ightgown and say
'Supersex.' She walked up to an elderly man in a wheelchair. Flipping
her gown at him, she said, 'Supersex.'

He sat silently for a moment or two and finally answered, 'I'll take the
soup.'

Two elderly ladies had been friends for many decades. Over the years,
they had shared all kinds of activities and adventures. Lately, their
activit ies had been limited to meeting a few times a week to play
cards.

One day, they were playing cards when one looked at the other and said,
'Now don't get mad at me .. I know we've been friends for a long time,
but I just can't think of your name! I've thought And thought, but I
can't remember it. Please tell me what your name is.'

Her friend glared at her. For at least three minutes she just stared and
glared at her. Finally she said, 'How soon do you need to know?'

SENIOR DRIVING

As a senior citizen was driving down the freeway, his car phone rang.
Answering, he heard his wife's voice urgently warning him, 'Herman, I
just heard on the news that there's a car going the wrong way on
Interstate 77. Please be careful!'

'Heck,' said Herman, 'It's not just one car. It's hundreds of them!'

DRIVING

Two elderly women were out driving in a large car - both could barely
see over the dashboard. As they were cruising along, they came to an
intersection. The stoplight was red, but they just went on through. The
woman in the passenger seat thought to herself 'I must be losing it. I
could have sworn we just went Through a red light.'

After a few more minutes, they came to another intersection and the
light was red. Again, they went right through. The woman in the
passenger seat was almost sure that the light had been red but was
really concerned that she was losing it. She was getting nervous.

At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was red and they went
on through. So, She turned to the other woman and said, 'Mildred, did
you know that we just ran through three red lights in a row? You could
have killed us both!'

Mildred turned to her and said, 'Oh, crap, am I driving ?'

GRANDMA STILL DRIVES!!!
Posted On 07/09/2008 09:42:44

Grandma's letter. She is  eighty-eight years old and still drives her
own  car.She  writes:

DearGrand-daughter,
The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a
'Honk if you love Jesus ' bumper sticker.
I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a
thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.
So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper.
Boy,am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed.
I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in
thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the
light had changed.

It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked,
I'd never have noticed.
I found that lots of people love Jesus !
While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like  crazy,
and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of
God!'
'Go!Go! Go! Jesus Christ , GO!'
What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus !
Everyone started honking!

I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those
loving people.
I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love!
There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach.
I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger
stuck up in the air.
I asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant.
He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something.
Well,I have never met anyone from Hawaii ,so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign right back.
My grandson burst out laughing.
Why even he was enjoying this religious experience!!
A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that
they got out of their cars and started walking towards me.
I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is
when I noticed the light had changed.

So, grinning,I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on
through  the intersection.
I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection
before the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave
them after all the love we had shared.
So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the
Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away.  Praise the Lord
for such wonderful folks!!
Will write again soon,
Love, Grandma
