Mornin' everybody... Get in here and get warm... We're not getting snow yet but it sure is cold... Can walk on the pond surface and not get my ankles wet! Well, almost anyway! lolol

The Boss Man has posted several articles in VNV... There is a list of Veterans organizations and support groups... An item on the Lt. Dan Band... plus an informative article on Anger (PTSD) Management.

All are well written and helpful; especially to those who have 'anger' difficulties..veterans or not. A good read!

Ok, this is sort of a heads up! These new goofy looking lite bulbs! Urban legend and advertising on packaging says: saves money, uses less energy, lasts 7 years.

[I do not care for these new critters! As an color conscious artist, I see a difference in the 'color' spectrum radiated by these 'lamps'.]

Also, you should notice, the 'lamps' contain MERCURY! AND, require special disposal treatment.

Now, if I remember correctly, Mercury is harmful to nature's critters... Big stink about mercury a few years back!...works its way into the food chain. To my knowledge, none of the warning issues or issues have changed.

Now, lolol, the question of the day!

Last nite I watched 'real' cop shows... For me, it's like listening to a scanner and not having the responsibilities of being on duty at dispatch. Anyway, during a traffic stop, officer asked driver if he'd ever been in jail. I pictured myself being asked that question and cracked up! LOLOL

Have I ever been in jail? Well, let me tell you about being locked in the Sally Port by the jail crew... One time locked into the padded cell...(I know! Bite your tongue everybody!) The drunk tank and in a holding cell. I've been fingerprinted, photographed and my last name is still painted on the locker I was assigned when I went into work in the building.

My license plate has been run as being on a suspicious vehicle in the sleaziest (sp) motel and bar parking lots in south western Ohio. Have I ever been in jail... come on now! The answer is YES!

Have I ever been arrested? No, but it's only a matter of time! lolol

Lordy pete, sometimes I still miss the job... The fun during the quiet times... I even miss the horribly bad times...It was like family... We took care of each other...

Guess that's it for the day... The 6 pack + 1 are down for the count and I have paintings to do..

Mornin' everybody... Git your buns in here and set a spell. Coffee's hot and help yourself to the donuts and toast... Got a new brand of Strawberry jelly... Yummy, yummy.. Also found some red raspberry jelly too... And no, the critters don't need any. What a bunch of con artists!

Did some laundry and now I have orange underwear again! Sheesh... All the rain we've had has stirred the rust in the well. I also have an orange tub, shower stall, sink, commode. Dogs drinking water is orange... the ice cubes, the coffee water... Lots of minerals in mountain well water!

Clouds are starting to roll away and I see a strange glowing ball in the hazy blue sky. Been a while! LOLOL And I do see the contrails up there thru the haze. My flyguys are up there playing and getting in their air time... lololol I've been able to hear them up there... but couldn't see them thru the clouds and rain we've been having.

Let's see here, what else? Oh, Coon Hunters! Another sheesh!

The 6 pack + 1 started alarm barking after dark last nite. Howling and just a carrying on! Finally went out to check and could hear the baying of a large hound opposite the front of the house...and a truck was stopped between the curves below. Hound was having a good time... And I was afraid I was going to be bored out here! lolol

I want to remind everybody who is or is related to a veteran to check TCornish's articles in VNV and WHVV. TC works hard and quietly brings us the latest info for all veterans and families. Way to go, TC! Thanx dear heart!

What else? The Marv is grumping again... He is so hard to please! lolol and watch out for some fireworks between the KK and him.

The KK has come up with/found a cartoon character who looks just like the Marv.... The Men's Answer To Maxine! lolol Too funny... be sure to check Marvinll's profile page....

Can't think of anything else right now and I just know I am forgetting sumfin...

Gee whiz! Time to get the oars out for the Ark! Oh yeah! It's pouring again! Yesterday I was hoping for the ice to melt off the side ramp. Today, it's hip boots, floatation ring and a Mae West. LOLOL I'm really not that hard to please weatherwise... (now, that is a real whopper) It would help tho if Mother Nature could make up her mind.

Newbie doesn't care whether it is raining or snowing. He has enuf fur on him right now to stuff a mattress! Oh, I can't wait until he starts to shed this spring! Come to think of it, maybe I am hard to please... (Bite your tongue, Dave!)

Not much going on today..6 pack + 1 sound asleep..on the bed and on the floor!

Fido is fussing in the pen... 'Feed Me!'

Ah me... I have the sleepies... gonna climb in and take a nap!

Mornin' everybody! Welcome home dear hearts, welcome home! Come on in and pull up a chair...Help self to the goodies and hot stuff! DON'T feed the dogs! And NO food fights... sheesh! What a bunch of brats! That's ok, I still luvs ya all!

Woke up this morning after a yummy nite's sleep. I turned the heat down...opened the bedroom window and turned the fan on! Was burrowed under 4 comforters with three little ones.

The temp was 64 when I crawled out (unwillingly, mind you) Headed for the heat control unit! I now have the Blue Lite Special going again..! I see dollars flying out the door...

The sun is shining... At least, I think that's what it is! I've opened the curtains, raised the blinds and the wrecking crew are zonked out in the sunny spot on the bed! And maybe, just maybe the ice will melt off the side porch...or not!

And of all things, today was my day to be IT for the doggy tag team gotcha game! lololol ... I ended up sitting on the bathroom floor... with the Wrecking Crew and the Lilyputz play panting, sneezing, growling and grabbing my fingers! Bout got beat to death! lolol Crawled all over my lap... got doggy kisses too. Does anybody else start the day this way? Just curious... lolol It is more fun! However, I do not recommend this activity for the faint of heart! lolol

Let's see here... Oh this is a biggy! JC/JCC has joined Eons... What a brat! Just found this out a couple of days ago! Rotten kid has been a member since August!

He is a good man... Runs his own business... has a lovely wife and two well mannered young'uns. NOW, don't let him know I said anything nice about him! He'll be impossible to live with and I will have to take the Broom to him! Gotcha JC! lolol

Gots my Dell puter back yesterday afternoon! Brian wiped it clean! I never gave a thot to losing all my addys and contacts on it... Now, I will need to reload all of that kind of stuff! Again I say, puters are God's punishment on mankind for thinking we are so smart! lolol A lot of truth there, I think!

Well, young'uns, I am off to get into some kind of trouble today... I can feel it in my bones! lollol

Good grief! My patience is worn thin, my nerves are frazzled beyond repair!

I am no longer spam! YES! CN at the telephone company fixed it for me yesterday! Ahem guys... CN is a woman! SHE got the job done! Gotchas!

However, I am still having the same old problem of slow to no internet access! Hour and fifteen to get on line this morning! That's ok tho! I am stubborn and NEVER tell me I can't! Dem's fighting words!

Anyhow... yesterday was a real bummer! lolol The weather was miserable! I won't even talk about the puter! I drove down to feed the chickyducks in the pouring down rain! I got wet...

I also got stuck! Finally made it back up to the drive way... leaving ruts and mud all over the west side of the yard! Spudley ended up with brown lumpy speckles all over his right side.

The kitchen floor would now make a good starter patch for green onions!

Well, thinking I was being helpful, I gave a tip for the day in CCC and Country music fans! I.E., DON'T drive on ground that's received almost 3 " of rain in two days!

The header in CCC was supposed to read KNEW BETTER_BUT DID IT ANYWAY!

Leave it to me, I misspelled knew and wrote NEW... Well now, the Boss and KK jumped right on that! lolol Oh dear, the puns flew fast and furious! OR got in on the act too... Go read it... Them picks on meems sumfin awful! Do I get any sympathy here at all? Don't answer! New, knew and gnu all sound the same to me! I did spell it right in Country Music Fans! I think!

The Boss man! He is such a brat... (understatement of the year, this.) He's volunteered me! Oh dear! Might or might not explain that later...!

Then there's the 6 pack + 1! LOLOL

I go to the cupboard next to the stove to get them a goody. Not paying attention to what my hand is doing, I am looking down at the starving critters! (That's a big lie!) Somehow, I managed to hit a jar of peanut butter (a large jar of chunky peanut butter, ) and get bopped on the head by it when I dislodged it!

No, I wasn't hurt.... just embarrassed! Jar landed on floor and started rolling! I do my broken field running... try to get to peanut butter before the dogs! lolol Made it! Jar safely back in cupboard... critters disappointed... them loves peanut butter! I gots tickled!

Then I did the Publishers Clearing House thing. Kinda hard to write when you are cussing and giggling at the same time... I decided to try my hand at winning some free bucks! lolol Complicated as all get out... and the only thing I am sure of is.... I put the postage stamp on correctly ...or maybe not! By this time, I wouldn't swear to anything! lolol Except... betcha Gary and Doug discussed it! lolol I'm glad I couldn't hear that conversation! lolol

I am outa here for now... hope this will enter/publish the way it is supposed to.

Well, I will try this again! The server just dropped me.

I am now officially spam for the second time! This is part of what I received yesterday: "Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for help."

Well, I called tech 1 level... Said it nicely but still meant the same thing... I am on my own in fixing the problem!

I am so tired of struggling with this...Anybody have any suggestions? Short of changing my name again, etc., I don't know what to do.

The weather is miserable too! Have had an inch and eight tenths of rain the last twentyfour. Its' gray, gloomy, breezy and chilly. Good thing about all the rain? The pond is way up! And just maybe, we might have enuf water to last the summer if we have a continuing drought.

The 6 pack + 1 handle it best! lolol They have been fed... bellies full and are now zonked out in their fave sleeping spots! Ah, yes, peace and quiet for a few...

OH MY Gosh!  I made it!  I finally made it!  I'd given up but decided to give it one more try!  Thank you everybody!  Thank you all for the help, the support and for being there!  love you all!

And here's the News...grumpy most of the way but some funnies too...

Grumble, mumble, grump... fuss, cuss... Nah, erase the cuss... I don't have the energy left! Let me get the rant out of my system first! lolol

How about the spam bot thing? Anybody remember that little fiasco last year? Yup, this time it's Yahoo just starting up... lolol I'm laffing but tain't funny!

I went to Yahoo's 'help' section.. filled out the form... posted the info and the email I received. I did this five time... FIVE TIMES!

EVERY time I hit 'enter' to send, the server dropped me! I had to reboot...manual shut down.. unplug the phone line to the modem (this resets the system somehow)...I was determined to send this info and finally it went thru...Meems is a stubborn old broad!

Spent almost two hours... lost my mind (shut up Dave)..When I started having chest pains.. I shut down for the evening... This kind of stress ain't good for this old body...

Now, I think that's out of my system! For a while, maybe! or not! lolol

Let's see here... Yesterday was an interesting day, weatherwise. Cold and drizzly... But when I went out to the mail box, the 6 pack + 1 came along with me... Then they started playing gotcha tag!

Drizzle and all, I had to watch because Spudley was IT! I cracked up... Making huge looping circles, Big red dog was right on Spud's rump trying to grab his tail!

One time he headed straight for me...running full out! Uh oh! Too late for me to run or move... Him was grinning and laff panting... swerved to the left and missed running over me by inches...

Big red dog was hot on his heels.. but trying not to run over the top of him!

Did you ever chase a small child? The little one going as fast as its little legs can go...You right behind trying not to run over the child and yet get close enuf to get a hand on it?

I think I've done that a time or two! lolol Oh yeah! I believe that Glen was born running! Trust me, I stayed slim and trim in those days! Didn't help me catch the galloping brat but I DID stay in shape! lolol

Phil, my youngest son, was the family dis-mantler! How does this work? What's on the inside? What does this thing do? I learned how to repair, redo, reconstruct a lot of things because of Phil's curiosity! Did you know you could (then) repair the stereo system using a rubber band? Oh yeah, it works!

I did manage to keep him out of the TV tho... put it up high and in a sheltered corner! Gots to be a creative thinker when raising young'uns who have more than their share of 'need to know'. lolol

Oopsie and RATZ! Maxfield just ate the corner off one of my wicker baskets! Yesterday, I found one of my shoes in the kitchen... thank you, Max. I've put my red slippers atop the tower (a safe spot so far) My dress boots reside in the closet... again a safe spot so far! One never knows when this might change! lollol

I digressed! Sorry bout that! I have two beautiful daughters, Bobbi and Shelley.

Bobbi is my gypsy, married military and has traveled all over the states. She has such a mind and such a sense of humor... She was writing (well, actually printing her name) by the time she was three. Also has an eidetic memory. Never forgets anything... retains what she reads and lives. She is impressive... However, she is not Mrs. Neat and Tidy... Wonder who she might get that from? lolol

Shelley is the youngest girl... She is bright, charming and funny! She also has her mother's temper! She is Mrs. Neat and Tidy! Have no idea or know where she came up with that. The neat and tidy part! lolol The rest she got from me! lolol Notice how I take credit? Cracking up! The girls just might have a different slant on the above! Oh dear... Don't tell them I said that! lololol

Best get off here and get ready for the downpour that's been predicted for the area! Need to get the feeding done early.

Grumble, mumble, grouse, complain.... Sheesh! Get your buns in here and get comfy while I get dressed... Coffee's perking... Y'all know where everything is! Do you notice I am not awake yet?

It's been raining again... The ground is squishy when you walk around the yard...Not complaining here just reporting the facts...Friday we had 1.65" of rain... some really heavy downpours... Yesterday, it was 74 degrees! 74! It was gorgeous!

You just wait until next year... If I have a chance to get up close and personal with any wooly worms, I am gonna' chew some antennae!

Well kids, Glen arrived bearing sammiches from the Subway in Beattyville... They were soooooo good! I gots lovely warm hugs and smoochies. We ran our mouths... I got tickled... he tormented.. (I'm afraid he comes by it honestly)

He was showing me his game avatars (One is a Tauran) I showed him the female happy dance that I'd seen on a posting. He knew right away that it was a Tauran. I'll tell you I've never seen such compgen works. I was really impressed with the program.

I ran my mouth about all of mine... about the Boss and KK and Marv and Toe and Pokey and Dave...Told him about Annie and her mysterious ways... Karen, Laurie, LJ, the Bear, Jas2 and and and...

I know better than to start naming names but I will be to do it!

Well, anyway, I went out each day to watch for and wave at my flyguys up there... I drug Glen out to watch... while I fortified myself with heavy duty coffee drinking. Sat on the tail gate for a while... then on the old wooden step (which was very wet...Oh yeah!) Chilled my tail assembly, I did! lolol

Glen seems to think I have lost my keen analytical mind! He may have a point but it is still my fantasy and all the logic in the world will not change it! So there, Glen!

All the same, I just wish I could receive confirmation on the fly overs... are they intentional or just an accident or coincidence? I guess I'll never know but I will continue to wave and send hugs until they come to take me away! lolol love you guys...

The critters were fine with the new "man". Well, mostly ok! lolol Glen doesn't have any dogs but he and his wife take in stray cats... Dogs are not very familiar with cats...

The 6 pack + 1 read his 'newspaper'... checked his car...The 'boys' signed his tires! lolol Cracked me up! Welcome home, Glen! lolol

Of all things, Ophie, the littlest one, decided she didn't like this huge critter that walked up to the emom and gave her hugs and kisses! AND, heaven forfende! came into the house carrying all kinds of stuff...lolol

Oh dear!... Ophie barked non-stop for 23 hours... I am not exaggerating nor making this up. She also threw in some mighty growls! I finally got tickled! Did I have a choice?

Told Glen she was giving away my secrets! My personal life, if you will. She obviously is not used to nor does she like overnight guests of any kind... especially the male variety! lolol.. He cracked up too!
