If you click on Comment alerts and then view. You see the comment that member sent you,under that comment in a box to reply. if you place the comment you want to send back in that box and hit reply, It will show on that members page in their comment box. This makes it easy to view what they sent you and to return a comment.
to send comments out (images)..what i do is in the white box i just paste the HTML code in and then submit comment ..for some reason the insert image doesn't work for me
