Hello ! dear friend

I finally had gas on Saturday afternoon...and I was able to heat myself..

However, I fear I have caught a severe cold...

All I have to do now is take care of myself to get rid of this severe cold... which still gives me a lot of pain in my back, lung area... and makes me cough.

Living this week in the cold hasn't helped my osteoarthritis either!!!

( I couldnt live at the North Pole!!!  (laughs) ....)

I'm going to call the doc tomorrow...(don't count on weekends!!)

I was hoping to have this gas much sooner...but the lady on the line explained to me that delivery was done as orders were placed...whatever the quantity ordered... (even if your tank is empty!!! and it's in the cold)...For an urgent order, they come within 48 hours and you have a surplus of 400 Euros to pay...

We must believe that the number of orders was very high last week!!!!!!!  (I would rather think that there were very few people in my area who needed gas!!! and making the trip for a single customer is too expensive for them)

My loss of fuel is already expensive enough to request urgent delivery: I lost half a tank of gas because of this vandal!!!

Now, I live with a padlocked gate, visitors must announce themselves by telephone..

The cost of energy in Belgium.... it's not a small thing....

But, let's talk about more pleasant things..

Today, March 1st, after a night of frost, we had a sunny afternoon!

One of my prunus is in flower, the purple crocuses are showing me their little heads...and two cranes have passed over my house....

...and the daisies are blooming in the lawns.

All this marks the arrival of spring!!...

Happy March. Cannot wait till spring. Sick of being so cold. Need to see less snow and see a lot of Beautiful flowers and Bees. Take care and hang in there. God Bless you. :-)

Roosters just can't resist saying "Good Morning, are you enjoying the sunshine?"  "Where is our food this morning?"  

The word is out and spreading fast that you are here to feed all of us!  

"Good Morning, snort, snort!" says Wilber or Big Daddy.  I am heading for the cool water on the ground as soon as you scratch my neck.  ( I can only take so many pictures on FaceTime but that is where he went.) 

Good Morning Mamma Charlotte!  Do you need some love too?  

Oh and Good Morning Momma Molly!  I know you miss your babies but they all have such good homes with kids who are loving them!  

One more trip around the yard to get your exercise.  Now start looking for bugs to clean up the yard and enjoy the warm sunshine to make your day magnificent.  Yes, I was sweating by the time I went back inside and it felt so very good!  

I love taking  and getting pictures (I know you can tell) and sharing my most wonderful memories with you and I love to go back and look at them often.  I hope you have a collection of your own to warm your heart!  Blessings & Hugs!  Pam
