Hi Darlene i figured 17 days will go by pretty quickly and i did find one that wasn`t too bad.
I figure most places would color their beer. they probably charge you more for it too.
My house feels like a prison with this cold weather never going away .
I did all my shopping Friday everything was going very nice until i made it 4 door away from where i was at lol
Oh well i had to handle an issue with some guy who had a personal problem
.This guy had a lot of nerve unbelieveable.
If you want to know more just let me know in a message.Have a nice week ahead.
If i had a pot of gold i would invest it.I dont thing k the store manager would call the police they would just tell the person that they can`t accept the gold.If he is stealing then thats a reason for the police to be involved.
Anyway i have everything undercontrol if i ever see this person again .
It seemed like a David and Goliath event lol
.Cash it at a bank or where ever it can be cashed and come back.
Hi Darlene. I agreee with you. The first pic is much better so I will work on that one. I already have the basic set up . Will carry on tomorrow as it's getting late now.
I do like your page. It's cute:). Here it is March the 1st also the end of our summer and first day of Autumn. Mind you we can still get some hot days. We have had 250 points of rain as of this morning and it continues to drizzle. The temp is down to the low 70's but very humid.. Feels like we are living in the tropics:). Time to close down for the day. Chat again. Hugs Pat.
Hi Darlene. Oh dear, I can’t remember what that St Pat’s theme was as it was a day where nothing was going to plan and eventually I deleted it to work on another today. Pop in and take a look. It’s not finished yet. Let me know what you think. Can you remember what the picture was on the previous one. I would still have it but as I worked on several I can’t now remember. (nothing to do with old age:). A monsoonal Band has arrived in our state and we have had the first solid rains since last August. The farmers are rejoicing but not so the vigneron’s with the Vintage harvest in full swing. I would be surprised if the majority of berries haven’t been split as several downpours were very heavy. The joys of living on the land. Hugs and take care. Pat.
Good Night, Melinda. I did indeed see the movie, "Somewhere In Time" several times. I especially liked the theme music. Designing-girl did a Boomer layout for the movie too. I think it's under miscellaneous themes.
Hi Darlene! we had a wild thing happen last night, at about 6 pm, our lights went off...It was off for a little over 2 hours. We had heard a loud pop when the lights went off, so we thought it was a transformer and just our neighborhood was affected, we found out later, that almost the entire city of Weatherford was without electricity, even the small town of Millsap did as well! According to the local police department, the cause was due to a transmission line circuit failure at the Brazos Electric Power...and not due the aliens! Yes some people were claiming that was the cause, there was serveral other consipercy theories that blossomed when the lights all went down! LOL some people are crazy!
Hi Darlene. It’s almost 5.30pm thursday afternoon and only 2 more days to the end of february and the end of our summer months as Autumn commences on the 1st March. Thankfully the temps are more comfortable to what they were and far less humidity. Mind you that could still return in the next month but I hope not. A cyclone has gone through the centre of the country and all those areas have had huge rainfalls. Needless to say the landowners are ecstatic as it’s the first decent rain in well over a year. We missed out on those rains however they are predicting good rains to fall in our area this weekend. Not a good time as much as we want it, for the harvesting of grapes has commenced and too much heavy rain will split the berries and they will turn mouldy hence reason why there’s a panic on to get as many grapes harvested before the rain arrives.
I saw on our news where NY was experiencing a blizzard. What a contrast to the southern hemisphere. Whats it like your way? Not long now and signs of spring will be showing. Love your little St patrick’s Icon. I should try and do something for my page. Nice chatting with you Darlene. I’m not always on here so trying to catch up now:) Hugs Pat.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments to me while I took a break from my computer, I am so lucky to have a friend like you! I hope you have a great day and new week!
Hello
Friends, hope your weekend is pleasant. We have had a warmer than
usual week but rain is on the way now and turning much cooler. Spring
can't be far away, can it?
Good Morning, Melinda. We celebrate Saint Patrick's Day here too. I expect to be wearing something green that day as well. I'll have changed my theme two or three times before then, so I'll probably have a theme for that day too. We're having a preview of spring. Thursday was in the 70s, Friday we made it to 80, and the weekend holds promise of being warm too. Then on Monday, temperatures are expected to plunge down down and down next week.
I really like your new page, Darlene. Designing Girl is talented. It's so warm this week here, I could scream my head off... after all, it's February, dummy weather. Tomorrow morning DH gets his new defib/pacemaker emplanted, thank goodness, and he'll once again have that guardian in place, doin' its job. After that is healed, we are assuming (and praying) that all can be back to relative normalcy:) Hope all is going well for you and your hubby. Smiles to you!
Yes, we had lunch Saturday at Cracker Barrell. Got there right after the mid day rush. I got steak, green beans, and shrimp. It was delicious. It's a busy week here with appointments. Enjoy the new week. -:)
Took down valentines decorations this morning. I have some St Patrick's day stuff somewhere. We got over 3" of rain yesterday. It was greatly needed. Mid week we will see 70's. Though I'm sure another cool down will follow. Love your page.
