Hello Cyndi!! I hope your temps have dropped for you all, too! 79 degrees here after the rain we received this afternoon. My niece, Becky, went back home this morning. Our nephew&his wife, flew back to Florida this morning also. Becky moved to W.V. a few years ago. I miss her alot!! My flowers are doing great, and that has been without any rain. But Boyd gave them a good soaking couple or three times a week. Enjoy your evening! Hugs Shirley
I haven't heard what caused those wildfires in Canada. We will be getting rain late Sunday ...after 7 pm. Should see mid 80's by next Thursday. I'll be staying indoors as much as possible.
Hello my fine friends! I hope it is coolier where you live! It had dropped to 78 degrees here. Now, 81 go figure!! Feels so much better then 90's!! We got some rain, earlier! Thank the Lord for the rain!! Be well and safe! You are a valuable person, created by God! Hugs Shirley
I have been staying in too. Finally at this hour we're at the moderate range instead od the air being in the unhealthy range. It's sad to see the destruction these fires are causing.
Thanks, Alice. Yes, my weekend should be restful after the week we spent with our grandchildren...
These heat-driven fires are wreaking havoc in many countries...
Stay safe and take good care of yourself...
My thoughts are with the indigenous people, too...

Myriam, hope your weekend is rejuvenating. I have been indoors for the past few days due to air alerts. It's been hazy & the smell of musty campfire & plastic burning is pungent. I pray for the Canadians--as well as the wildlife--directly affected by the fires, esp. the Namaygoosisagagun First Nation.
