Have to get those facets dripping again for tonight and tomorrow night. My weater app shows we are going to be in the 60's next. Yay!! That's my kind of weather, as long as it isn't windy. Good afternoon everyone...feeling kind of at a loss today..the world is a mess...Today was one of my friends funeral and I just could not make myself go...I know she would understand..Her and I talked about a week ago and I knew she was in a hospice place...She has been sick for some time now so now she is out of pain...I know many of you are going through things and many seem to be missing on here but there are reasons..I will try to be on here more and try to share joy..we all need that for sure...Hugs and love to you all...
Hi Beth! I'm so glad the weathermen were wrong about today, last week, they said we would be getting snow with this artic front, but we're enjoying sunshine instead!
It was a lazy day here. Looks like our snow starts Friday night @ 7 pm. Continuing thru Sat evening. It is surreal, as we haven't seen snow in prob 3-4 years. Jellybean and Greymar have been staying inside at night..of course they wake us up between 3-5 am most mornings. Haven't seen Pepper today, but he's a loner some days. Talked w/Marie today.mshe sounded good. But still having digestion issues. We prob won't be able to visit her this weekend now given our weather, but hopefully we can the following weekend. I like soup and chili this time of year. I will probably make chilli over the weekend.
Evening very coldm windy chill is in the minus -20 so there closing school already brrrr., went to Aldi;s today for a few things plus coffee and gas/. so much snow there putting it in the ocean, hope your having a good day., hope to go stop and shop tomorrow. see you in the morning.,
Hello Beth!! We are fine!! Been hunkered down for a week today!! 16 degrees here now. No more snow today. But believe me we have piles of it!! So glad your granddaughter didn't get hurt! Being stuck is no fun!! I have slide completely around before on ice, headed to work!! Boyd&I slide on a country road a couple of years ago. Slide all around and went backward toward a farmers fence! Stopped just before the fence!! Stay warm!! Shirley
Boyd&I are fine!! Been hunkered down here for a week now. Might try to go into town, tomorrow, might!! Our son, Bill is improving so much!! Thank you for prayers! He is working from home now. Started back, Tuesday. He fell on the 29th of November, broke his femur. Got back to work on January, 27th. Not bad! Still in physical therapy. They come to his house. We had tuna salad sandwiches and porknbeans for lunch. Hadn't had that in a very long time!! I hope you all have been well and staying warm!! Hugs Shirley
Hello my friend. Its a chilly day here. The sun is shining brightly but the wind is out of the north and we are only 37 and feels like 28. I haven't even been out of the house yet. Got all my laundry done and the dishes done. So I can relax this afternoon. We still have a little snow is spots where its shady. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Take care my friend.
The ICE not snow has melted almost everywhere except in the culdesac directly behind our driveway. It doesn't get much sun to melt it. We are about 57° today, 50° tomorrow and Saturday we start at 19° with a high ove low 30's. But hopefully Sunday we will be back in the mid 40's. UGH! Stay Warm Beth!!!
