Hi Beth! ...my home town Mineral Wells, TX got hit hard by the tornado yesterday, we were under a tornado warning twice, (I'm ub Weatherford, by that same system, but the tornado was quick and didn't travel very far. My younger brother lives in a trailer in MW, but not in the area that got hit...thank goodness! They showed the destruction on the CBS national news this morning. The man that was a supervisor at the Ventamatic plant that got destroyed, called all his 2nd shift people and told them not to come to work that afternoon, due to the bad weather watch...he saved all those people by doing that. He stayed to lock down what he could, and left, 20 minutes after that, the tornado hit there..it had traveled across the Holiday Hills subdivision, tore up a bunch of houses there, (mostly the 2 stories homes) then to Wolters Industrial complex where the Ventamatic plant is and a lot of warehouses, then it traveled down Hwy 180 and hit the little town of Cool, Tx..but only 2 people in the houses got badly hurt, lots of low key type of injuries, and no deaths...so that's really good! The tornado was headed toward us, but played out right after it hit Cool, thank goodness!
Wednesday is another day with possible rain on and off.
When you are gathering up things for a rainy day, don't forget an umbrella.
You can't always be lucky enough to find one along the way. However, this one doesn't look like it will keep you very dry in the blowing wind and rain.
Maybe you will find a friend that will share it with you!
If you do have your own umbrella, then kick up your heels and have some fun. I still do this barefoot going to the mailbox on a rainy day.
Also if you have one, don't forget kindness and share it with others.
Oh Beth, that is terrible. So much rain this Spring. Suppose to get rain tomorrow too. 59 degrees here and feels so damp!! Love your graphics and comments. I guess I will never learn downsizing! Pam has told me and many others!! Hugs. Enjoy your days we are given!! Shirley

Good afternoon to you. I have 3 more physical therapy sessions and I will be done. The muscles in my lower back feel so much better. Its a cool day here. And Thursday and Friday we have a good chance for some much needed rain. How is the weather where you live? Not much going on here. I do have dishes to do but I will do them later. Enjoy the rest of your day and take care.
I tend to have a need to walk outside barefoot from time to time, I didn't know there was a name for it, "grounding" ...I do know that I feel it deep inside when I have walked barefoot on the earth and so much better..(not inside my house though) do you have something you do to help you feel "grounded"?
