Walgreens is two blocks away..I'll be on the search for peanuts on sale when we return home. I haven't seen any squirrels in a while, but they're here I know.
Your store is closer to you than mine . Walgreens is about 4 blocks from my home but thats a hop skip and a jump . Look and you will see they are always 2 for 5.00 and when they go on sale its only 1.88 a bottle.
Thats cheap ,once those birds get used to munching on them its going to be rough .
What started out with just a few birds less than 10 built up to a huge flock .
The neighbor next door has a tall bush at the end of his home and they nestle in there .
They look like ornaments ona xmas tree.
And once i open my door they take position sometimes on the sidewalk, they look like like a military band of soldiers lol
They will get used to liking them and the poor squirrels , by the time the squirrel is done eating those couple of peanuts are off the cement in a matter of seconds
Some birds just were not fast enough and some look like they are lost not knowing what to do .
Its a free for all . Thats how it is on my end here. But i use the shelled peanuts now .
A big bird he can eat up that shelled peanut like nothing but that dont happen often.
They got to be the happiest little fellas in the world . Squirrels got so good now they can hold like 2 or 3 nuts in their mouth and scamper away

It's Friday!! It's a rainy afternoon but that's ok since it's bringing the temps down a good bit and the weekend is before us! Now that's worth smiling over.
I hope you have a safe wonderful trip! I have never been to either of those states either. It's at least a 16 hour drive to go back home to NY. That's a long drive, haven't been home in way to long.
Enjoy what's left of the day. Take care, Hugs,Rhonda
