I like sappy romantic movies. Hubby even endures them with me. I also watch different series on T.V.
M E M O R I E S
As a kid I loved finding Pussy Willows in the Spring; also walking through woods and finding Trilliums and other wild flowers
I used to loved coloring Easter eggs with my boys. Now we have fun doing it with our grandchildren

My favorite music is the old hymns; but I also enjoy Gospel Groups with their new songs. I like the old songs of the 60's and 70's where you could understand what they were saying.
It's so nice to hear the sound of the birds again busily building their nests, then the chirping of the babies after they hatch

The Bible is my favorite book to read; but I enjoy light romance stories and anything to do with the British Royal family

I play the organ and also like to paint and crochet. Of course Spring is when I buy my flowers to make my deck and yard look nice. That always puts a smile on my face.

I can't put this page up without telling you where my identity comes from. God, thought what His Son Jesus did on the cross, and then rising from the tomb is where my main focus is. Actually I celebrate Easter every day of the year because of the message of the cross and resurrection. Spring is a time of renewal. I sure make lots of mistakes, but I have accepted the true meaning of Easter - Jesus.
I am a very proud Canadian and love my country.
I'm a real person - what you see is what you get. I've been happily married to the love of my life for 48 years and would marry him again in a heartbeat. We have two grown and married sons who have given us two sweet daughters-in-law and 4 precious grandchildren.

My favorite season of the year is SPRING when everything is coming back to life. I LOVE the wind. The wind not only refreshes me, but it comforts me and helps me just be still. I love to laugh and think I'm a pretty real person.
There are so many wonderful smells in the Spring. Take time to smell the lilacs and other wonderful flowers when they bloom
I love to hang my laundry outside to dry

A big turn off for me is when people use God's name in the wrong way - that hurts my heart; also some of the nasty words people have in their vocabularies these days.
It's nice to see the grass getting green again; but then you have to contend with those pesky dandelions
The Spring rain is necessary, but I'm not fond of the mud that it causes
