Looks like it's gonna be one of those non-stop days again. I have to laff... I hit the floor running this morning and am still going as fast as feet and fingers will allow... Sheesh... I will give Eons a big plus... It keeps me out of bars and off street corners... Besides, it's too hot out there to do any standing around! 90o right now and humid... 

Have meeting to go to this am... will be back in a little while!

Gee whiz, kids... I have laffed till I cried, couldn't breathe and turned blue from lack of O2...Ended up on floor in hysterics... and did my friends help? I don't think so! KK says to get up and dust self off! Boss said he would call '91' (instead of 911)for me... Need I mention these are my really close friends... my buddies... my pals? Lordy all I needed at that moment was the Marv in the chat box too... and my cup would have runneth over for sure! 

Oh, a big congrats to KK and Divana! Mods in the TEJG... I am so proud of you both... but I will get you both down the road... Paybacks are a bear with a sore paw... trust me! lolol hugs to you both

One of my fav songs is Greensleeves... (an old english folk song about a 'lady of the evening')... Well, it is being sung in Snickers candy bar commercial...lololol I wonder if they (Snickers) really know where the song originated? on the floor just thinking about the possibilities!

Hmmm... I have a note to myself from yesterday... It says:" - sell - stuff in or stuffin frig"... I have no idea what that means! cracking up! lolol I wish I wouldn't do that to my self...Sheesh... I need a keeper or sumfin!

Oopsy... thunder and litning... meems is out of here... Storm gods playing again with Thor's hammer again...

Listen up kids... The Elite Joiners Group is a major hoot! Just go to my profile page and look under my groups to find it easily. Read it and you will be hooked right away! lolol Anyway there is a link to a chat box there... you can set up times to meet friends and really neat new ppl. I'd advise bringing flack jacket and helmet.... the gotcha's can fly fast and furious... enter and play at your own risk...lolol

Well, Kids... I started this at noon and am just now getting back. The phone has been ringing off the wall... the mountain telegraph is in full swing today... Lordy, the unfounded gossip that is flying up and down the hollers is unreal...lolol Not complaining tho... Meems is in the loop and it's funny sometimes... I now know that the undercover pd's are in the area... have been warned not to strip and run outside in the all togethers... That's just in case somebody might see me! The world is not ready for that... lolol Me... outdoors ... wearing nothing but nailpolish and a hair clip...ROFLMBO! It sure conjures up a picture in my mind! LOLOL

Seems LoMoWo unable to navigate hallway. Awoke to sudden dog disturbance causing sensory mechanism to short out. Horizontal nose dive avoided…sporadic functioning feeler antenna saved LoMoWo from floor canine collision and further black and blue bruising. Amazingly said woman was able to find her way back to bed and reset brain to snoozing slumber.

Well, let's see here... the dogs are sleeping... the ducks are quiet...no traffic on the road... the strip miners are gone... Mr. A is sort of hiding from the neighbors. It is quiet here for a change... 

The Boss man has a new idea for a chat box in EJ (elite joiners group) I think he is tearing his hair out trying to keep up with stuff... lololol Be careful for what you ask, Boss... lolol busy busy! Gotcha! lololol

KK is off and running already today... (any volunteers to try to keep me under control? lolol) I am not going to hold my breath waiting for a positive reply! I don't look good in that shade of blue!

Sheesh, I can hear the Marv complaining right now... wanting his copy of the news... of which there ain't much today... lololol

2008/06/07 1037 EST...

I have giggled all morning long... Goofy dog Is in a silly mood so look out! The boy, Newbie who else, is absolutely a riot and crackin' me up!

Sometime over nite, the big dogs woke me... wanted out... No problem! I stagger down hall, in my usual broken field running style. Hang on to walls, door frames .... whatever I can find to keep me in an upright position...The pack do get underfoot! 

I stagger back to bed.... cover dive with the three little ones and zonk out again. 

Then at or about 0830, the Newbie starts knocking (doggy style) at the back door... When he knocks, the whole house shakes... gets your attention right away, I betcha! Oh yeah!

Up I get again... stagger down hall... across kitchen to back door...Three big dogs looking at me thru storm door... Grinning! Tails up and a wagging...Happy to see the emom! Oh dear... Well, nothing to do but let them in! Doggy 6 pack greeting! It's no wonder my legs are black and blue... 

I find my way to the microwave to nuke my leftover coffee... Stand there waiting for ding and thinking of absolutely nothing...Zoned out? 

I hear growl, thud, thump behind me... turn around... first thing I see is Spud with a mouthful of Newbie hair... Newbie is sitting with his back to Spud...ok... no serious damage done.

But Newbie is grinning! Oh oh! Well, I grab my hot coffee to come back here and check on mail...didn't even get out of the kitchen and Newbie was already tempting the Fates! Oh yeah! Was the neatest thing I have seen in a long time... Spudley is growling and Newbie is faking him out... Newbs stomps front feet... Spud starts toward him and Newbs stops... as soon as Spud starts to follow me, Newbie does the stomping bit again...Newbie is crackin' up and Spudley is mumbling to himself... Leaving both critters to their fates, I hightail it down the hall to park my buns in my chair... I am staying out of that one! 

Ran down to the two pumper store yesterday... I have been out of laundry soap and finally, out of despairation, I decided to buy some there even tho the prices are out of sight there... It did save me some gas. Well, the trip which should have taken twenty minutes at most (a whole 5 miles round trip) took me 2 hours... 

Boy, oh boy... did I get an earful from several people... at the store and on the way home... The big topic being Mr. A who I thot was in hospital.
Nope, he's home! He's been going the long way around to get to the store... Him has made some ppl down the holler VERY angry! He's smart enuf to know not to give the unhappy ones a clear shot! 

Beings I now have laundry soap, water, washer and dryer, I guess I'd better be getting some Suzie Homemaker stuff done... Grumble, mumble.... don't like house work... lololol

Gee whiz, guys, gimme a break! Marv is complaining mightily... Rainbow calls and rolls me out of bed. Look at the time! I haven't even had one whole cup of coffee yet! and you know how I get... Olbear grumped at me for being up overnite when I should have been sleeping. Theatened to send Broom! Then the Bear kept sending me these funny pics. I got tickled, fell off chair.. Picked self up and climbed in bed with 3 of the smallest of the 6 pack! Finally fell asleep laffing softly to myself about the days events...

Y'all know that the Boss has started a new group..THE ELITE JOINERS GROUP! Now, as I understand it, it is absolutely a 'do nothing' group. Supposed to go nowhere, nohow, no time at all! A total zilch, nada, nothing, zero activity...need I go on? I'm sure that y'all get the idea! Not that there were any rules to begin with, I think the Boss has lost all control over the most outrageously funny group going. KK posted some really funny want/for sale ads there... Cracked me up!

The Boss leaves town for the holiday (good idea, boss). Leaves message to all 'to behave and no parties until he gets back! (bad idea Boss) Oopsy Boss, thems was orders that just had to be broken! Group over-ruled, then over-ran the Boss' orders! His 'behave' post received over 50 replies in next to no time... Cracked me up! Members had/held one hellacious party... Goodies, dancing, music and food... lots a food!

Wonder when and if the Boss is gonna take another trip? Start not planning ladies... and just do nothing for the time being! lolol

Hmmm... OH yeah! The Newbie was up to no good again! Can you say: paper towels chewed up and strewn all over bed room floor? How come it is I can never find a paper towel when I need one? Then all I need do is go to sleep or turn my back and the Newbs is shredding a whole roll? He must have a stash somewhere I am not aware of!

Another thing... my avatar keeps disappearing from the chat boxes... Won't let me re-enter it (the one being used) and all that shows is a black box! Also my white and blue Knights there now have a blue star attached. Anybody know whats going on in Xat or what the dark blue star means? Would love to know!

More coffee...and gonna stay inside today... Hot muggies are upon us again! Lots of fog overnite.

Hey all of mine, welcome home... Come on in and get cool... Muggies have arrived again. Sheesh! Had some drizzles too. Gray clouds overheard... Oh well, shame on me for complaining about the weather!

I have been reminiscing about holidays past and about all the ones we have lost to keep us free...our best and our brightest! Thank you my dear ones for your sacrifices. The flag reminds me every day of the ones who fought to keep us free.

Ah yes, freedom!

While I was making coffee this morning, I looked out the kitchen window...MY kitchen window... saw MY trees...Saw MY hummingbirds fussing over the nearly empty feeder... Saw and heard MY birds singing... saw and fed MY ducks who were complaining loudly, "feed me"!... I was able to enjoy all these things, little things, because of Freedom!

I am free to say and do as I will. I am free to enjoy my life, my family. I am free to enjoy every day in my beautiful home and homeland...all because all of mine fought to give me the privilege to be free to be who I am...The many over the generations... Thank you, again dear hearts! I do not forget.

Gee whiz, guys...half the day is gone already but that's ok by me... I am brite eyed and semi-bushy tailed... There's cold stuff and hot stuff to drink... some muffins and biscuits... cold cuts, white, rye and whole wheat bread... just a snack but I do have some honey and butter for those blueberry muffins... low to no cals...and am I ever telling a whopper here! Oh yeah! lol Any way, I am sure y'all can handle those low cals.

In yesterday's News, I mentioned the Doggy 6 Pack's romping on the bed while I was in it... Seeing no profit in being abused, bruised, beaten and battered by said critters, I tried to remain light hearted about my bodily damage. Lighted hearted mood did not last long.
I recieved the following comment from friend with misplaced wit! ... The quick and the funny Ozarkreader!

The Newbie didn't make it to the bed this morning! Spudley was guarding the rails and snarling at the Newbs for all he was worth... Snarling will wake me in no time! lol Have no desire to get in the middle of that again! I do, however, have an update on the Newbie's dimensions... Caught him in the middle of guard duty today, took a straight edge ruler and sort of measured him... from tip of nose to base of tail...44" plus.. tail not included.

Well, best get going for now... Time's a wasting! and boy, can I waste time...

Good mornin' dear hearts and welcome home...Come on out here on the porch... prop your feet up and relax for a while.

Only been up for little more than a hour and I am already bruised, beaten, battered, mangled and generally dis-arrayed! Might add deranged here too!

Don't EVER have a dog that weighs almost as much as you do! Trust me, this is dangerous ground to tread upon! lolol... Oh yeah, you already know where this is going! I can already hear the chorus singing "Newbie" in the back ground.

Well, kids, Newbs decided to climb in bed with me this morning. This means the whole Doggy 6 Pack was on the bed with me. My homemade double bed is stacked with feather beds, no mattresses for me. (I understand the fairy tale about the Princess and the Pea very well now)
Double bed is sturdy enuf not big enuf for 6 dogs and me. I seriously doubt whether a King sized bed would be large enuf!

But, I digress (ty KK)... Anyway, Newbie climbs in/on the bed, just a grinning! Him is super pleased with self. Has decided it is time for me to rise even tho I might not be shining... Small problem here. Meems cannot roll out if pinned to feather beds by large dog and companions. Hmmm! Off! doesn't work... neither does flailing arms nor various and assorted cuss words. I am tangled in covers, sheets, pillows and doggy body parts. This is NOT the way I planned to start the day. However, 'they' say exercise first thing in the morning is 'good' for you!... lolol I beg to disagree! I am speaking from first hand experience... It (exercise of this kind) only turns the body black and blue at best.

Have no idea what I am going to do today... Nothing scheduled at least... but it is still early...so who knows?

Meems is outa here for now... Go in safety all of mine, take care... Have a good time, enjoy the silly side of life, laff, giggle, hug somebody today... I am firm believer in a daily hug for all...Love you... the meems
