Off the coast of Southern Italy, seismologists and culinary experts are trying to figure out how one of Italy's three still active volcanoes, Mount Stromboli , is erupting with countless tons of tomato sauce flowing down the mountain.
Analysis of the sauce shows it has traces of carbon , citric acid, olive oil, nitrogen, and sheep's milk, and surprisingly, nutritionally speaking, low amounts of sodium. Executives from Ragu and Rao's are looking into bottling this tasty lava in the near future as well as the Marzano Canning factory officers if approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Most people don't know that Thomas Edison was a constant complainer. He was always venting to his friends and family. One day his wife suggested he stop venting and instead try inventing.
The rest is history.
Ok...So I screwed up again. My wife said an unopened bag of sugar she just opened was hard and had to chop it up a bit before pouring it in a big jar.
So I thought I'd do her a favor by adding rice to it so it wouldn't dry out. OOPS. Looks like I was thinking of rice in salt bottles I often see at a diner.
I'm in the doghouse tonight.

Now that we're in December, hopefully our first measurable snow here in New York City will be coming soon. I'm anxious to add to my snowflake collection I started last year. I have over 200 specimens I have collected that I keep in petri dishes. They have been collected from snow flurries, snow storms, and blizzards, albeit the latter two were kind of bereft from the city and Long Island last year.
But still, I was able to obtain a lot of snowflake samples. I have them carefully arranged by date. The petri dishes all look pretty much the same now but that does not deter me from adding to my collection. Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow.
In what some runners are calling, an insane idea, the New York Marathon in 2024 will take place on Thanksgiving day . Runners will be no where near the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade along 6th Avenue
The New York Road Runners Association has plans to reroute the marathon through alternating streets in Manhattan. Mayor Adams feels these two simultaneous events will greatly increase the tourism and bring in more revenue to New York City.
In the tune of Camelot (Title Song ) I've always thought a pot is not to piss in. A toilet bowl has always been my spot. Since prostate issues now seem to beseech me, Sometimes the urge to urinate is absent, At times my bladder doesn't feel too hot. But when that urge becomes more than a dribble, I pee a lot. Pee a lot. Pee a lot. Some extra underpants are fine. Pee a lot. Pee a lot. I cannot wait in line. When once I never peed until the morning. I could sleep on any bed or cot. Don't let it be forgot, that yellow stain I got is only because now I'm doomed to PEE A LOT.
My suspicions I have known for decades since I started listening to music has been confirmed. I enjoy the music of the Four Tops and the Temptations and always confuse the groups. Now they were in concert together and I have never seen them perform together...Just as I thought, when one group was on stage, the other group was off the stage. Now I know why I have never seen them perform together at the same time. The Four Tops ARE the Temptations. !!!! I have been correct in thinking that for all these years.
Scuba divers and other rescue works worked feverishly in the abnormal warmer waters of the Atlantic, due to Hurricane Lee near Nova Scotia, Canada where a dying beloved idol was discovered drifting in the warer.
. But their repeated and heroic efforts were unsuccessful in their attempts to revive one of winter's fondest legends and a favorite of boys and girls : Frosty the Snowman .
